Dr. Smith received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and his Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics (Dean’s list) from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. Four years later, Dr. Smith graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, also from the University of Western Ontario. Since graduation, Dr. Smith has provided his dental care services in Oshawa, first as an associate in the office of Dr. John Hudson and since 1986 at our current location at 292 King Street West. Dr. Smith has always devoted considerable time to continuing education in order to provide the most current modalities of treatment to our patients.
Since graduation, Dr. Smith has been a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), and the Durham Ontario Dental Society (DODS), the Toronto Implant and Aesthetic Study Club (TIASC) and the Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (TACD). Online affiliation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Dental Implant Professionals. Currently, Dr David Smith’s practice is focused on the management of Sleep Apnea and Dental Sleep Medicine.
Erica attended Durham College and graduated with Honours as a Level 2 Dental Assistant in 1998. Erica is an active member of the Ontario Dental Assistants Association (ODAA) and is dedicated to keeping her skills up to date with ongoing continuing education. Erica has been Dr. Smith’s assistant for all but her first year following graduation when she gained experience in a general practice and an oral surgery office. In our office Erica also holds the title of Office Manager. Erica’s clinical and practice management knowledge combined with her friendly demeanor ensures that a relaxed environment is maintained for all.
